The scope of work involved surveying a total of twenty five 75m x 75m boxes, centred on each of the ‘as built’ monopile positions, as provided by SeaScape Energy via Ocean Marine Research Ltd. It was noted during the survey that the positions, as supplied by the Client, were inaccurate. This was attributed to rounding errors on the Client supplied coordinates, as decimal minute positions were rounded to two decimal places. The primary objective of the survey was to map seabed levels across the individual turbine locations in order to assess the position of the rock dump with respect to providing effective protection from any future scouring that might occur around the base of the turbines.
