Fugro Alluvial Offshore Limited (FAOL) was contracted by Fugro Geoconsulting Limited (FGCLTD) on behalf of Mainstream Renewable Power Limited (Mainstream) to perform a geotechnical site investigation at the NNG site to provide soils information to assist in the development of the proposed export cable route and main array. The site investigation was performed to provide soils information along the cable route. The system used piezocones with a projected area of 15 cm² during the investigation. Pore pressure measurements were made on the cone shoulder. Corresponding α and β values for the Fugro cones used were 0.58 and 1.0 respectively. The investigation consisted of 173 CPTs which were carried out at 110 locations with 63 retests. Soil descriptions for this report are based upon BS5930:1999+A2(2010) and BS EN ISO 14688.In general, the results are considered to be of good quality and are representative of the soils tested.
