The Teesside Offshore Wind Farm was consented under Section 36, Food and Environment Protection Act, Coast Protection Act in September 2007. A number of conditions were included that must be discharged prior to the commencement of construction, including pre-construction baseline monitoring. This EMP details the surveys to be undertaken as part of the preconstruction baseline monitoring. These pre-construction baseline surveys will be carried out over a 12 month duration. Details of the methodologies and the survey programmes for these topics are provided in order to allow consultation with statutory consultees prior to survey commencement.
