The current and wave measurements were undertaken at different locations using identical Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) deployed in dedicated seabed frames. The instruments were deployed on 23rd April 2014 and recovered on the 6th June 2014 for Survey 1 and deployed on the 16th December and recovered on 14th March 2015 for Survey 2. A separate file is used for each ADCP so that there are a total of 4 data files for the current analysis. The following sub-sections contain further details on the content and format of these files. The root filename for the ADCPs are provided in the table below. The current versions of the data files are 2x0 for ADCP04 and 2x0 for ADCP05. A new set of data has been produced for ADCP04 due to an increase in the side-lobe filtering and for ADCP05 also due to an increase in side-lobe filtering and correction of the QC masking. A version history in provided in Appendix A. Quality control (QC) is provided at three tiers. The details of the quality control are provided followed by tables that contain the actual data return rates achieved, together with a discussion of the data quality containing a justification of the final data quality used for the analysis.
