The surveys were carried out between 7th and 19th June 2012. In addition Gardline Geosurvey carried out a geophysical survey (fieldwork was undertaken by Titan Environmental Surveys Ltd) for DONG Energy Burbo Bank Extension (UK) Ltd in the Irish Sea; the object was to investigate the proposed Burbo Bank Extension Inshore Area using single beam and multi-beam echo sounders, sidescan sonar, boomer and magnetometer equipment. Positioning control for the survey was the Ordnance Survey VRS network. Equipment was run simultaneously on all survey lines in all areas, with the exception of the Extension site, which only required the MBES system.
