The areas surveyed were identified by Centrica for the upcoming works on the aforementioned turbines and respond to the need to have a jack-up vessel in the locality to complete the works. This series details the operations and results of the survey around all turbines. Please note the data provided within this series only covers the Lincs site, whilst the report covers both the Lincs and Inner Dowsing Offshore Wind Farms. The Applanix POS MV 320 was used as the primary navigation system onboard the vessel. The system provided positioning to the QPS QINSy navigation and Kongsberg SIS packages. The QPS QINSy navigation software provided the towpoint position to the SSS acquisition software.
