The survey was required to fulfil Marine Management Organisation (MMO) requirements for post-construction monitoring of scour, trenched cables and debris. In order to meet these requirements, the scope of work required that Fugro EMU provide the following deliverables and reports:  Accurate bathymetry across the Wind Farm and along the export corridors  High resolution sidescan sonar across the entire survey area  An archaeological assessment by subcontractor, Wessex Archaeology The survey was undertaken between 1st November 2013 and 3rd December 2013 on board RV Discovery, all survey objectives and contractual requirements were achieved. The system was tracked underwater using a USBL beacon positioned 1.2 m in front of the sidescan sonar towfish. This accurately recorded the position via a Sonardyne Scout+ throughout the survey, including any changes in layback. The system operates and records simultaneously at both 100 kHz (low frequency) and 400 kHz (high frequency). Sidescan sonar range was set to 75 m for both high and low frequency data. The sidescan sonar data was thoroughly interpreted for obstructions, archaeological features and any construction debris.
