Survey data were acquired across the footprint of the main development site and the two, 1km-wide export cable route corridors (indicated below), the survey extents of which were provided by the Client. addition, survey data were also acquired at a number of 100m x 100m boxes, which were centrally positioned at proposed borehole locations and orientated NNW to SSE to minimise the effects of any tidal currents on line keeping. These additional boxes were undertaken to provide information as to potential UXO risk to Contractors and for jack-up rig leg penetration/support calculations. The vessel was equipped with dual-frequency single beam and multi-beam echo sounders, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling and marine magnetic gradiometer systems. Primary vessel positioning during the survey was provided by the use of an Applanix POS MV, with a CSI Vector sensor providing secondary positioning information.
