The offshore wind farm componenet of the proposed development is not located within a European or Ramsar site but the offshore cable corridor crosses the Liverpool Bay SPA site abd the Morecambe Bay SAC, SPA and Ramsar sites to make landfall on the Lancastrian coast, south of Heysham. The Project is not directly connected with or necessary to the management of these sites or any of the European or Ramsar sites considered in this assessment.
