Data was acquired on 25th August 2019. The purpose of this survey was to identify any seabed scour at the turbine location and detail the interpreted measurements laterally and vertically. The report in this series is the interpretation report for the J01 turbine. Operations were undertaken using a hull mounted dual head Kongsberg 2040C. The surveys were conducted onboard the EGS owned coastal survey vessel ‘The Watchful’, which operated on a 12hr basis from Liverpool marina. Vessel mobilisation, calibrations and verifications began between 22nd and 23rd August 2019 whilst the vessel was in Liverpool and were then completed offshore 24th August. All survey operations were completed on 25th August 2019. Once published, there will be no limitations on public access. In some instances, this compliance will not be feasible. True series MBES data was acquired over the specified locations on 25th August 2019. Data was acquired using a Kongsberg dual head, dual swath 2040D multibeam echo sounder operating at 400KHz. All data was processed in CARIS HIPS 10.4.4. at 20cm resolution, using the ETRS 89/UTM Zone 30N (EPSG 25830) Coordinate Reference system (CRS). A density plot was produced at a minimum of 100 soundings per m2. The entire area contains 100 or more soundings per bin. Post processed (POSPac MMS 8.3) navigation and attitude were applied to the raw multibeam, and all soundings were reduced to LAT using the UKHO VORF separation model.
