The scour determination shall include evaluation of: --the time scale for wave-induced scour; --the time scale for wind-induced scour; --the time scale for current-induced scour; and --the current speed required to induce scouring. -Quantify the amount of scour anticipated for the three different foundation concepts based on the three different soil profiles. Both the depth and the width of the scour hole shall be defined, in addition to the time scale for the induced scour. -Suggest a scour protection philosophy for each combination of foundation concept and soil profile where a scour depth greater than 0.5 m is anticipated. -For all combinations of foundation concepts and soil profiles where a scour depth greater than 0.5 m is anticipated, the Contractor shall estimate the required rock volumes, including rock grading, necessary to protect the foundation from scour development.
