This report is the Stage 2 zonal assessment of marine physical processes in the Round 3 Irish Sea Zone and it describes the hydrodynamic and sedimentary regime that operates in the Irish Sea Zone , this includes overview of adjacent coastlines and frontal systems that may be sensitive to changes in physical processes as a result of the proposed wind farm development within the zone. This study focused on providing a full zonal characterisation and physical process cumulative impact assessment Data used were derived from initial stage 1 assessment, data collated from different stages in the ZAP- Zonal Appraisal Planning process, Geophysical and Benthic data from previous MMT 2010 survey, Metocean surveys EMU 2010-2011 and Bird survey from Econ 2010 Associated report :R3-D-EN-133-0117-400004-001 Purpose: To locate and estimate the depth of shallow volcanic units, and the location of faulting within these units, for engineering purposes.
