The aim of the seasonal fisheries surveys conducted within the Gunfleet Sands area was to gather fisheries data on and around Gunfleet Sands with which to establish a baseline of the seasonal assemblages of fish species within the area prior to the development of Gunfleet Sands wind farm (GS1 and extension GS2). This allows a description of baseline conditions to be made against which potential environmental effects on fish distribution in the vicinity of the windfarm sites may be measured. This report presents the findings of the second seasonal otter trawl survey, which was undertaken on the 30th and 31st October 2007.
