The offshore wind farm consists of 152 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with a gross nameplate capacity of approximately 504MW. The project is now fully operational and the construction was completed in September 2012. One element of the windfarm that preceded its development and has continued through the construction phase into operations is the construction of two metrological masts (IGMMZ and IGMMX). This metmast, IGMMX, was constructed in May 2012. Since then it has recorded various elements at 10 minute intervals and sent the readings back to shore via a SCADA communications system.
