This report presents the findings of the Phase I intertidal survey that was undertaken across three beaches in the vicinity of Torr Head. It is anticipated that the findings from this report are to be used to inform both the export cable options and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the development. The survey was undertaken on foot and access to the foreshore was ascertained via public rights of way or where consent had been gained from private landowners. The survey team comprised two experienced MESL staff. The methods and techniques used were in accordance with the guidance outlined in the CSM Guidance, Marine Monitoring Handbook (JNCC, 2001) and the CCW Handbook for Marine Intertidal Phase I Survey and Mapping (Wyn et al. 2006).
