Emu Limited was commissioned by Kentish Flats Ltd. to carry out a series of hydrographic surveys spaced at 6 monthly intervals both before and after construction to achieve this requirement. This project relates to the seventh such survey, the sixth since construction of the turbine foundations. The fieldwork was performed between 2nd and 5th November 2007 by our subcontractor Port of London Authority (PLA) using the survey vessel Verifier. This is the seventh such survey in a series of 6- monthly surveys, and the sixth since construction (hence the title Post-Construction Swath Survey 6). The fieldwork was undertaken on 2nd and 5th November 2007 onboard the PLA hydrographic vessel Verifier after mobilisation in Gravesend. A Reson Seabat 8101 240kHz system was employed to collect the swath bathymetry and this was fully integrated with motion sensor equipment and navigation software.
