Using field observations and following species identification according to Stace (1997), the survey identified a variety of flora typical of shingle, mudflat, grassland, and aquatic habitats, though some species—particularly roses—were difficult to identify due to seasonal constraints. The findings are indicative rather than comprehensive, and the report recommends a follow-up botanical survey in spring or early summer for more accurate identification, especially of rare or seasonally variable species. The existence of small-leaved sweet-briar, a Red Data Book species, remains unconfirmed, highlighting a need for further investigation. As a result, the species lists should not be considered comprehensive, but rather act as an indicator of the type and diversity of habitat that is present.
