This report provides a comprehensive description of the metocean conditions for a proposed met mast location in the Round 3 Irish Sea zone, namely site MM2. The description was formed using a combination of data from adjacent locations as well as new measurements achieved as part of an ongoing metocean survey programme to support project development. This report compliments the earlier work published for met mast locations MM1 and MM4 (ABPmer,2011 Ref R3-D-EN-054-0000-000000-038) Available data set are metocean time series data in csv formats and reports in pdf formats. Parameters include significant wave height, maximum wave height, wave period, wave direction, wind speed and direction, tidal height, tidal current speed and tidal curremt direction. The survey plan included deployment of directional wave rider (DWR) buoys close to the sites originally planned for met masts, MM1 and MM4. The DWR deployments were scheduled for a 12-month period which commenced in late October 2010. In addition, a shorter term 60-day deployments of bottom mounted ADCPs was carried out at 12 locations spread across the zone to collect wave, current and water level data.
