The surveys were undertaken from May to September 2012. The objectives were to determine the seabed type through collection and analysis of seabed sediment samples; to determine broad scale distribution patterns and abundance of marine habitats, communities, biotopes and key species patterns and; to identify habitats/species of conservation importance in the area. Deliverables were in the form of a report and video still screenshots.
