The offshore wind farm consists of 152 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with a gross nameplate capacity of approximately 504MW. The project is now fully operational and the construction was completed in September 2012. One element of the windfarm that preceded its development and has continued through the construction phase into operations is the construction of two metrological masts (IGMMZ and IGMMX). This series includes IGMMZ which was constructed in 2005 and has recorded various elements at 10 minute intervals and sent the readings back to shore via a SCADA communications system.
