The scope of work, for the September 2014 survey included: 1. MBES survey of 50m wide corridor along Export Cable Route between the WTG F0 and the HDD exit point. 2. MBES survey of the WTG foundations F00 and G00 and inter-array cable. This report covers survey elements which were undertaken on the 5th & 6th September 2014, along the Export Cable Route and around Turbines F00 and G00. The survey work was carried out using the PLA survey vessel ‘Yantlet’, with bathymetric data being collected using a hull-mounted Reson SeaBat 8125h MBES. PLA’s MCA certified dedicated survey vessel, Yantlet, was used throughout the duration of the project for MBES work (Figure 2). The equipment on the PLA’s vessel is permanently fitted and regular calibrations of equipment are undertaken, including daily field checks. The PLA is ISO 9001:2008, 14001 and 18001 certified and all QC documentation are held and available for review. Bathymetric sounding data is generated to IHO S44 Special Order level. Before the survey commenced, all survey systems were calibrated and verified in order to ensure that data being collected was valid and within the stated accuracies Ref PLA document Q 14-12. Bathymetric data have been reduced to LAT using the VORF-LAT separation model shown in Figure 4. PPK vertical levels have been generated in PosPacMMS by applying Ordnance Survey RINEX base station data. The PPK vertical positions were applied to the bathymetric data in Hypack.
