The project builds on previous ALSF projects, notably On the Importance of Shipwrecks (3767), on the developing legal and administrative framework associated with the Heritage White Paper, and other schemes and initiatives concerned with the selection and management of historic assets. Phase I of the project commenced 09 August 2007 and is due to be complete on 21 September 2007.
