The longlines were left to soak for a duration of approximately three hours before being hauled and the catch recorded (refer to Section 3.5). Sampling operations were replicated on the 4th and 5th August 2010 for a total of three replicates at each station. It should be noted that two station replicates were omitted from the survey, L03A and L04C, due to the longlines being lost.
