These measurements aim to provide key information for the development, use and operation of the Marine Energy Test Area. A TRIAXYS Directional Wave and Currents Buoy was deployed at a site in East Pickard Bay on the 27th February 2019. This report presents data recorded on the wave buoy memory card for the period between 27th February 2019 and 4th March 2020. Data recovery of 91.2 % was obtained for the waves data and 95.9 % was obtained for the current data. These data were collected from a Seabed Survey License. A Seabed Survey Licence enables applicants to undertake a range of small scale, temporary activities offshore, which physically interact with the seabed. As they are smaller individual surveys, not all of the deliverables comply with the MEDIN Guidelines required for other data on the Marine Data Exchange. Data is being recorded on the instruments internal memory as follows: Datawell MkIII wave buoy: waves – 30 min interval. TriAXYS Directional wave buoy: waves; and current speed and direction at 30 min intervals. The data is transmitting via satellite and displayed every 30 minutes in near real-time on a web portal: Total sea: Significant wave height, maximum wave height, peak wave period, mean zerocrossing period and mean wave direction. Sea: significant wave height, mean wave period, mean wave direction. Swell: significant wave height, mean wave period, mean wave direction. Currents: speed and direction at specified depths (East Pickard Bay).
