In addition, multibeam echo sounder and side scan sonar data were to be collected along the export cable route corridor and around the existing substation, to assess any potential areas of scouring. This series contains the reports/data collected on the MV Bibby Athena and MV Lia as well as the land (beach) survey work. Once published, there will be no limitations on public access. Commission Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010 of 23 November 2010 implementing Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards interoperability of spatial data sets and services 2010-12-08T00:00:00 publication Conformity with the Commission Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010 was either not relevant to this dataset or not a requirement of the Marine Data Exchange for the creation and submission of this dataset; therefore, conformity has not been assessed and cannot be declared False series The main objectives of the survey were as follows:  Acquire depth of burial (DoB or "z") of the cable over the entire accessible part of the 24 km of export cable (the survey footprint includes both offshore and near shore areas), using a suitable tracking system;  Acquire accurate geographical ("x" and "y") position of cable, referenced to KP along the route  Verify DoB cable tracker data/acquire DoB, where tracking is not possible with a sub‐bottom profiler, at pre‐defined intervals along the route;  Obtain multibeam data along the export cable route in a corridor to undisturbed seabed and of at least 25 m to each side of cable, except in very shallow areas;  Obtain side scan sonar data along the export cable routes to undisturbed seabed and of at least 25m to each side of cable, except in very shallow areas;  Produce a comprehensive interpretative report on the results of each survey;  Monitor changes in bathymetry, compared to the pre‐installation surveys;  Classify targets on the seabed, including exposed cables, free spans, rock dumping areas and cable crossings (mattresses); and  Identify the stiff clay horizon in relation to the installed cable, between KP0 and KP3.6. In addition to the objectives above, Bibby HydroMap were requested to investigate a potential freespanning section of inter array cable, which was expected to lie between KP0.267 and KP0.271, on the inter array cable connecting turbine D04 to the OSS (Offshore Substation). Further, areas of stony reef habitat are known to be present along two sections of the export cable route between KP2.50 to KP3.00 and between KP3.55 to KP3.70 and these were to be defined by the acquisition of additional side scan sonar data at these locations.
