The surveys were carried out between 7th and 19th June 2012. In addition Gardline Geosurvey carried out a geophysical survey (fieldwork was undertaken by Titan Environmental Surveys Ltd) for DONG Energy Burbo Bank Extension (UK) Ltd in the Irish Sea; the object was to investigate the proposed Burbo Bank Extension Inshore Area using single beam and multi-beam echo sounders, sidescan sonar, boomer and magnetometer equipment. Positioning control for the survey was the Ordnance Survey VRS network.
