This report details the findings of the 13th to 16th in a series of otter and beam trawl surveys to be undertaken in the area relevant to the operational LID wind farms. The survey is the Year 3 post construction survey which span across 2011 and 2012. The trawl start times and positions were recorded when the winch stopped paying out the gear and the trawl end times and positions were taken upon hauling the gear. Sampling was undertaken on the 9th August 2012. The start and end times, durations and co-ordinates of each otter and beam trawl are given in Table 3.4 and Table 3.5 respectively, and the tow tracks are illustrated in Figure 3.4 and Figure 3.5 overleaf. As previously mentioned, stations situated inside the Lynn offshore wind farm (OB08), and the Lincs offshore wind farm (OB03, OB04 & OB09) were omitted due to the construction exclusion zones currently in place, and station OB05 was omitted due to its proximity to a Sabellaria sp. reef. Station OB10 was omitted due to a high density of static gear. Station OB11 was relocated immediately north of the original sampling location to avoid a Sabellaria sp. reef.
