The unit was installed at the Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm (NNG) site on the 20th April 2014. Exact co-ordinates are Latitude 55°08.704' N and Longitude 01°25.159' W. Decommissioning took place on the 17th January 2015. The Flidar data is corrected for movements and is also available uncorrected. The corrected data is corrected using a correction algorithm but if, for any reason, a new correction algorithm should be applied to the data, the uncorrected data is also available. Mainstream did not find any issues with the current correction algorithm and would reccommend using the corrected data. There was a major outage in Q4 2014 due to failure with the power supply. Only standard WindCube filters need to be applied to the data as it is not necessary to filter for waves - this was deemed to be unecessary. 10 minute and 1 second data is available - Mainstream use the 10 minute data only. Two onshore lidars were also used to inform the Neart na Gaoithe project and these are both available in separate series on the Marine Data Exchange.
