Abstract:
This report reviews offshore ornithology environmental statements and associated planning papers, relevant scientific publications and reports, considers mapping of seabird densities, and lists identified key ornithological impacts that could constrain development in two characterisation areas; Area 3 (Yorkshire Coast) and Area 4 (The Wash). The report proposes recommendations that were considered in the refinement of regions that in turn formed the potential locations for new seabed rights for Round 4.

Finally, it uses that material to derive and present recommendations regarding the inclusion or exclusion of Regions 3 and 4 in the Round 4 leasing process. |
