Metadata: 2008, Osiris Projects, Humber Gateway Offshore Wind Farm and Export Cable Routes, Geophysical Survey
Abstract:
Osiris Projects were commissioned by E.ON Climate & Renewables UK to carry out a detailed hydrographic and geophysical survey for the Humber Gateway ‘Round Two’ offshore wind farm development area and its associated export cable routes. Survey data were acquired across the footprint of the main development site and the two, 1km-wide export cable route corridors (indicated below), the survey extents of which were provided by the Client. addition, survey data were also acquired at a number of 100m x 100m boxes, which were centrally positioned at proposed borehole locations and orientated NNW to SSE to minimise the effects of any tidal currents on line keeping. These additional boxes were undertaken to provide information as to potential UXO risk to Contractors and for jack-up rig leg penetration/support calculations.

| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2008, Osiris Projects, Humber Gateway Offshore Wind Farm and Export Cable Routes, Geophysical Survey |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 4452d27f156355afa0228bbd6dbcd47c |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | 4852 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2008-07-30 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2008-10-31 |
| Spatial resolution | This describes the spatial resolution of the dataset or the spatial limitations of the service. | inapplicable |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | Data acquisition was undertaken using Osiris Projects’ shallow drafted vessel MV 'Lia'. The vessel was equipped with dual-frequency single beam and multi-beam echo sounders, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling and marine magnetic gradiometer systems. Primary vessel positioning during the survey was provided by the use of an Applanix POS MV, with a CSI Vector sensor providing secondary positioning information. |
