The following reports detail the findings of the spring and autumn 2012 adult and juvenile fish and epibenthic pre-construction surveys, undertaken in the area of the West of Duddon Sands offshore wind farm and along the proposed export cable between the 17th - 24th May and the 19th - 25th September.

The specifications of the vessel are given below in Table 4.1. The position of the vessel was tracked at all times using a Garmin GPSMap 620 with an EGNOS differential connected to an external Garmin GA30 antenna. Trawl start times and positions were taken when the winch stopped paying out the gear. Similarly, trawl end times and positions were taken when hauling of the gear commenced. |
