Metadata: 2011, Ecologic UK, Inner Sound, Marine Mammal Acoustic Survey
Abstract:
Ecologic UK was contrated to untertaken a marine mammal acoustic survey. This report shows the analysis of towed hydrophone data collected by Ecologic UK for Meygen. A passive acoustic detection system was used and data was collected from May to August 2011. The equipment collected useful data on all surveys. The main problem encountered was a tendency for the computer to crash frequently on the May, June and July surveys. It is clear that this was due to very high trigger rates for the click detector cause by high noise levels, especially using turns.

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 5451 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2011, Ecologic UK, Inner Sound, Marine Mammal Acoustic Survey |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | d1930c27-b427-44ba-910d-a4f88ddaa37b |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | Project266 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2026-04-17 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2026-04-17 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
