Abstract:
Moray Offshore Windfarm (West) Limited (MOWWL) is developing the Moray Offshore Wind Farm (Moray OWF) located within Western Development Area of the Outer Moray Firth. MOWWL requested Fugro GB Marine Limited (Fugro) to perform a geotechnical ground investigation to provide soils information at the site. The offshore ground investigation was performed from the Fugro Synergy from 24 October 2018 to 02 November 2018. The survey comprised of 2 boreholes and one bumpover, 2 downhole Cone Penetration Tests (CPTs), 29 Seismic CPTs (SCPTs) and 41 Sound Velocity Tests (SVTs). Laboratory analysis was also completed.

The DGNSS and GNSS PPP data was quality controlled using StarPackQC quality control monitoring application. Real-time QC information was displayed as Time Series graphs, tabulated data and graphical displays such as Sky Plots, Error Ellipses and Lock Time graphs depicting satellite lock status. The quality of DGNSS and GNSS PPP derived position fixing data was monitored whilst logging position data for individual locations and also throughout the entire project period. |
